---

Waste movements are stock reversal actions for items launched when there is an item or merchandise for which there is a known justification for loss/break.

Waste is a movement that contributes to Known Break, which can originate from waste annulments movements in the point of sale (POS) selling aspect or from waste movements related to purchased/produced products. These movements must always adhere to a coherent justification consistent with the occurrence, ensuring traceability.

Creating a Justification

Justifications can be configured through Configurations > Documents > Justification Types. A coherent description should be assigned to this justification, corresponding to the waste movement to which the justification will be applied (examples: expired, for internal use, damaged packaging, etc.), along with the Stock Movement Type WASTE.
